With a history of over 78 years of continuous broadcasting in Los Angeles, most of it as a member of the CBS Radio Network, KNX may well be LA's oldest radio station. Programming is continuous news for nearly the entire day and night, with traffic and weather updates every 6 minutes.
KNX no longer broadcasts classic radio dramas at night, but still offers feature shows about cars, computers, business news, food, and entertainment, as well as the 60 Minutes simulcasts. Renowned talk host Michael Jackson is now back on the air, airing here mornings and afternoons. The station doesn't have a live stream, but does have audio files of selected recent features.(MM)
